From Columbus to Atlanta...
What a couple of busy weeks! This is truly the first time I have been able to sit down and do a meal plan in a long time. However...I have been cooking, but nothing fancy...
We have been living off of burritos, frozen pizza, hamburgers, and very boring pasta. I am tired of it and I know Justin is.
This week will be mostly normal. I spent four days in Columbus, OH at the AMLE Annual Conference for Middle Level Teachers. It was a blast. And next weekend I will be spending it in Atlanta with Taylor Swift. Honestly, I can't complain!
I do feel we definitely need to get back on track with the meal plan so here it is! Enjoy!
Sunday: Eat Out
Monday: Chicken Parmesan Baked Ziti
Tuesday: The Famous Pampered Chef Taco Ring
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Seasoned Chicken, Green Beans and Potatoes in the Slow Cooker
Friday: Simple Sesame Noodles
Saturday: NO Cooking! I'm going to see Taylor Swift!
Happy Cooking Y'all!

The Week in Review.....or not so much.
Hey guys!
So I was going to review my recipes I tried last week and tell you if I liked them or not, but honestly, they were all good. My taco soup ended up being more like Taco Chili and you need more chicken stock when you make the Lemon and Thyme Chicken Breasts, but other than that---everything turned out great!
My favorite was the Skillet Lasagna! Yumo!
So now...on to this week!
We haven't started out great for cooking this week since it's Saturday night and we've eaten Zaxby's for supper but I'm going to start with Sunday and going through Saturday for this week's menu plan (I know, breaking my own system).
This week its all about keeping it one pan, pot, or crockpot, which means super easy clean up!
Sunday: Breakfast for Supper (this needs no recipe....eggs, bacon, toast, grits, waffles!)
Monday: One-Pan Chicken Burrito Bowl
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Loaded Potato Soup (Tip: For faster cooking, boil potatoes first!)
Wednesday: Leftovers (Faculty Meetings mean no cooking!)
Thursday: One-Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta
Friday: Crockpot Sesame Chicken
Saturday: Eat Out
I am also putting some of my favorite snacks that I made this week---great football food!
Spicy Seasoned Pretzels (Justin LOVED these!)
Pepperoni Rolls
Dessert of the week:
Pretzel Peanut Butter Cup Pie
Enjoy and Happy Cooking!!!

Fall always brings me back....
Happy Fall Y'all!
So, I was talking to my mom and sister the other day and we were talking about people's blogs. She mentioned she had read some the other day but it was all about how their life was fabulous and who wants to read about that? I mentioned..."I have a blog...or at least I used to."
And so I came back. I feel mostly that writing is therapeutic. I would love to write a book one day. I have always thought that would be cool. And get someone like JLaw to play my main characters part in my awesome blockbuster and get rich. Would be pretty cool.
But I came back to share something that I have started.....MENU PLANNING. It has made my life so much easier.
If you know me, you know that I like to plan. I like to plan anything and everything, so planning my meals is absolutely one thing that I wish I had done for awhile now----PLUS it saves money at the grocery store...I can't even deal with the ridiculousness that was my grocery bill.
So, to keep up with my blog, I thought I'd share my weekly Menu Plan. Know that I only have to cook for two people and I don't eat fish---so the menu may not as be as broad as you would like it, but I do have to say these are fast and wonderful meals. And they are not always healthy but some are.
I always plan from Saturday-Friday with meals because I usually do my shopping on Saturday. And I got all of these meals off Pinterest!
Enjoy!
Week of 9/12-9/18

Sunday: Leftovers (and some of my mom's stew beef she sent!)

Friday: Eat Out
